Senior Java Developer

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Work Model: Hybrid (1 day onsite per week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications in a modern microservices environment. The ideal candidate has strong backend development expertise, experience with cloud-based CI/CD practices, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions within Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
• 
  Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• 
  Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
• 
  Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Karate/Cucumber.
• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.
• 
  Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• 
  Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• 
  Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• 
  Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of modern development practices.

  10+ years of Java software development experience.
