The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer with strong architectural expertise and hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into scalable backend systems.
You will design and lead the development of high-performance distributed systems while collaborating closely with AI/ML teams to productionize intelligent solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Integrate AI/ML models into production backend systems
Ensure performance, scalability, and system reliability
Lead technical decisions and mentor senior engineers
Collaborate with Data/AI teams to deploy and monitor models
Requirements:
8–10+ years of backend development experience in Java (11+)
Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture
Experience building and optimizing distributed systems
Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models or LLM-based services
Experience with REST APIs and event-driven systems (Kafka is a plus)
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Cloud experience ( AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
