Were looking for a Senior Backend Developer to build and run Java services that movedata between different systems. Youll work across a modern microservices landscape (Java 17, Spring) and own integrations that reliably pull data from our platforms and deliver it intoSAP.

The target architecture consists of microservices with Java 17 and Spring Framework suite: Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud, etc

Your main mission

• Design, build, and operate backend services that extract data from production systems and deliver it to SAP ( S/4HANA and related SAP components).
• Implement robust integration and migration pipelines ( batch and real- time) using Spring Boot, REST, messaging, and SAP-facing adapters/APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map data models, define contracts, and validate end-to-end flows.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and performance of integrations (retries, idempotency, monitoring, alerting, backoff strategies).
• Write unit, integration, and contract tests; participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation and DevOps practices for our integration services.

Profile:

• Strong Java ( preferably 17+) and Spring Boot experience building production backend services.
• Solid grasp of integration patterns ( synchronousasynchronous, pubsub, batch, event-driven) and experience with REST and message brokers ( e.g., Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency with SQL databases and JPA/JDBC; understanding of data modeling andmigration considerations.
• Experience running services in containers (Docker) and familiarity with cloud environments and CI/CD.
• Willingness to work on SAP migrationintegration topics; comfortable learning SAP-facing interfaces and tools.
• This is a Java developer role, but any ABAP knowledge is a plus (only if paired with solid Java).
