Senior IT Systems Analyst
Reports to: IT Director - Business Applications
We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Analyst to join our growing IT team and play a critical role in bridging business needs and technology solutions across our global operations.
As a Senior IT Systems Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, translating operational and business requirements into scalable technology solutions. You will analyze, optimize, and support enterprise systems that enable core business functions such as manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and finance.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder management. You will lead system improvement initiatives, support digital transformation projects, and help ensure our enterprise applications deliver maximum value across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand business processes, challenges, and system needs
• Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements and new solutions
• Design and recommend scalable IT solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards
• Lead end-to-end system analysis for projects involving ERP, MES, supply chain, manufacturing, and enterprise applications
• Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and external implementation partners
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, and data quality
• Support system integrations between enterprise platforms and third-party applications
• Analyze system issues, troubleshoot root causes, and coordinate resolution of complex incidents
• Develop process maps, workflows, business cases, and technical documentation
• Support testing activities including test planning, UAT coordination, defect tracking, and validation
• Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in business analysis and system design
• Participate in global digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Systems, or related field
• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Experience supporting enterprise systems in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of business processes in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, planning, or logistics
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, data flows, and enterprise architecture concepts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
• Experience managing consultants
• Experience with INFOR XA and AS400 will be considered a key asset
• Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies
• Microsoft tools certifications, other certifications such as CBAP, PMP, ITIL, or any relevant ERP certifications.
• Experience avec LIMS
