Job Description

Do you want to keep IT infrastructure running smoothly and securely for thousands of employees across Europe?

Are you interested in joining one of Europe's fastest growing companies? Do you want to impact the wellbeing of millions of users?

If yes, join us to make an impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you'll take ownership of our Netherlands operations, keep our Microsoft 365 and Google environments secure and optimised, and drive IT process improvements across the Epassi Group.

About Epassi

Epassi's purpose is to boost everyday well-being. We are a leading provider of employee benefit solutions across Europe. We were established in Finland in 2007, and in 2008 we were the first company to launch a mobile-payable employee benefit payment solution in Europe. Since then, we have consistently grown, diversifying our products and introducing our services into new markets.

Epassi has been awarded by the Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe on multiple occasions.

Your mission at Epassi

As Senior IT Specialist, you are the primary IT point of contact for our Netherlands site while also contributing to group-wide initiatives across Epassi's international entities. You report to the IT Team Lead and play a central role in keeping our Microsoft 365 and Google environments secure, stable, and optimised for daily operations. This is not a pure support role: you will contribute to migrations, rollouts, and process improvement projects alongside colleagues across Europe. We are looking for someone who brings both hands-on technical depth and the communication skills to work effectively with end users and stakeholders at every level.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Take ownership of day-to-day IT operations for the Netherlands site, ensuring high availability and reliability of all local systems
  • Administer and continuously optimise the Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra, SharePoint, Exchange, Defender, and Intune, as well as Google Cloud Administration
  • Manage device, user, and permission management across M365/Entra and Google
  • Maintain IT security standards in line with ISO 27001 requirements and internal compliance guidelines
  • Support IT project work, rollouts, and migrations with forward-looking, scalable solutions and concepts
  • Connect and integrate new systems into the existing environment and contribute to process optimisations and automations group-wide
  • Maintain high ticket quality and thorough documentation of systems and processes

You'll be successful in this role if you:

  • Ensure the Netherlands site runs with minimal downtime and that end users receive fast, high-quality support
  • Deliver clean documentation and process improvements that make systems easier to operate and hand over
  • Contribute meaningfully to IT migrations or system integration projects, taking ownership where your experience and the scope make it the right call
  • Build trusted working relationships with local stakeholders and cross-functional IT colleagues across the Group

What you'll be doing (daily):

  • Resolving end-user tickets for the Netherlands site, maintaining high response quality and clear communication throughout
  • Managing user accounts, devices, and permissions in Microsoft Entra and Google Workspace
  • Monitoring M365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Defender, Intune) and acting on alerts or anomalies
  • Connecting new SaaS applications to the Microsoft environment via SSO, configuring least-privilege access, and setting up provisioning where possible, so every new system lands securely from day one
  • Documenting changes, configurations, and new processes in our IT knowledge base (Confluence/Jira)
  • Supporting the security team when ISO 27001 audits are due, answering site-specific process questions and providing evidence for local operations, meeting requirements for suggested changes and setting up new system integrations
  • Coordinating with Group IT colleagues on shared projects, rollouts, and security topics

What you should bring:

  • Completed IT training or degree, such as IT Systems Integration Specialist or comparable qualification
  • Several years of hands-on experience in system administration of IT infrastructures in a professional environment
  • Solid technical experience with Microsoft 365 (Entra, SharePoint, Exchange, Defender, Intune) and Google Cloud Administration
  • Practical experience with end-user support and ticket management systems; experience with Confluence and/or Jira is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 or similar IT security frameworks is a strong plus
  • Experience supporting or leading IT migrations and system integrations is a strong plus

Your language profile:

Fluent Dutch and English, written and spoken. Additional languages are welcome.

Your track record:

  • You have administered M365 and/or Google Workspace environments end-to-end, from user provisioning to security policy management
  • You have built a reputation for clear, friendly communication with non-technical stakeholders while resolving complex issues efficiently
  • You have successfully delivered or contributed to an IT migration, rollout, or system integration in a multi-entity or international environment
  • You have maintained or improved IT security compliance in a structured framework such as ISO 27001

Your competency profile:

Analytical thinking: You quickly grasp complex technical problems, identify root causes, and propose practical, scalable solutions rather than quick fixes.

Service orientation: You treat end users and stakeholders as partners, communicate proactively, and follow through until issues are fully resolved.

Quality and accuracy: You apply consistent standards in everything from ticket documentation to system configuration, because you know that small errors compound over time.

Ownership: You take responsibility for the Netherlands IT environment as if it were your own, escalating when needed but never leaving problems in limbo.

Collaboration: You work openly with Group IT colleagues across borders, sharing knowledge, flagging risks early, and contributing to collective outcomes.

Adaptability: You operate effectively in a growing, international company where priorities shift and new systems need to be learned and integrated quickly.

Why You Should Join Us

  • Be part of an ambitious growth journey and join a global community of driven, bold, entrepreneurial, yet humble Epassians in a company that is constantly evolving.
  • Work with a clear purpose — boosting everyday wellbeing — and create a meaningful, positive impact on both individuals and society.
  • Thrive in an open and inclusive culture with low hierarchy, where relationships are built on respect, camaraderie, and shared successes and challenges.
  • Come as you are — we’ll bring out the best in you and support your personal and professional growth.
  • Join a fast-growing tech company with a strong financial foundation, offering opportunities to grow and make an impact together with us.
  • Benefit from an inspiring and supportive work environment where employee wellbeing is a true priority.
  • Contribute to solidifying our position as the number one player in Europe’s employee benefit market and help shape the next wave of success.
