Job Description

We are looking for an Senior IT Solution Architect with strong expertise in SAP LE/WM and SAP EWM to lead the design and evolution of warehouse management solutions across a global SAP landscape.

The successful candidate will act as the technical and functional authority for warehouse processes, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and IT colleagues to design scalable, standardized, and sustainable solutions. The role covers both project delivery and application lifecycle management.

  • Define and maintain the solution architecture for SAP Warehouse Management solutions.
  • Design end-to-end warehouse processes aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.
  • Lead solution design workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into functional solution designs.
  • Review and approve functional specifications and custom developments.
  • Drive harmonization and standardization of warehouse processes across multiple locations.
  • Support global SAP transformation initiatives and warehouse implementations.
  • Provide architectural guidance during projects, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Ensure integration between warehouse processes and surrounding SAP modules.
  • Mentor functional consultants and support knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Support incident resolution for complex cross-functional issues.
  • Participate in roadmap definition and technology strategy for warehouse solutions.

More about you :

  • 8+ years of SAP experience in Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management, including at least 5 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience, with involvement in multiple full-cycle implementation projects and global application support.
  • Strong expertise in SAP LE/WM and SAP EWM, covering inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse structure, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, internal warehouse movements, physical inventory, handling units, wave management, and RF processes.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end warehouse operations and integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, TM, GTS, and SAP ERP ECC/S/4HANA, including experience with decentralized EWM.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, including business process analysis, fit-gap assessments, solution design, process standardization, and driving the adoption of SAP standard functionality while minimizing custom developments.
  • Good understanding of system integration technologies, including IDocs, qRFC, APIs, and web services, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cross-functional and cross-system issues.
  • Basic ABAP debugging skills are an advantage.
  • Experience leading design workshops, engaging with business stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, and providing architectural guidance throughout project delivery and application lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies (e.g., MFS, conveyors, robotics), SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM, and Agile delivery methodologies is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and mentoring skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global, cross-functional teams.
