Job Description

Remote – US

The position does not offer visa sponsorship

Ready to help shape how WD-40 sells and serves customers around the world? We're seeking a collaborative, results-driven Senior IT Project Manager to lead high-visibility Commercial Services initiatives — including our Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms — that directly power our global growth strategy. You'll partner with sales, marketing, and customer-facing leaders across the organization to turn strategy into action, with a direct hand in projects the business is counting on right now.

This isn't a maintain-the-status-quo role. You'll inherit an active backlog and real momentum, with the latitude to shape how the work gets done going forward. As our Salesforce platform continues expanding globally, you'll gain exposure to teams and markets well beyond the U.S., and you'll have the opportunity to mentor rising project management talent while helping strengthen and evolve WD-40's Project & Portfolio Management practices within our Global Center of Excellence.

The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor and driver of outcomes who can translate complex technical detail into plain language for fast-moving, high-energy business stakeholders — and who thrives on turning ambiguity into a clear, actionable plan.

This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote from anywhere in the U.S., or hybrid a couple days a week if you're based in the San Diego area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead medium to long-term, complex Salesforce enterprise initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring work is aligned to organizational priorities, business outcomes, and approved project management delivery methods.
  • Partner with business and functional stakeholders to identify, elicit, analyze, and document business, project, and process requirements, then plan and define projects — including outcomes, critical success pathways, timelines, budget assumptions, dependencies, risks, costs, and benefits — to establish a clear, actionable delivery path.
  • Owns, manages, and prioritizes a product backlog using agile and project management methodologies to ensure the highest-value work is clearly defined, sequenced, and delivered.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, operational efficiency, data-driven insights, and business partnership. Develop proposals and recommendations to gain stakeholder alignment and approval.
  • Lead adoption and change management planning, including stakeholder readiness, communication, training, support needs, and user experience considerations to enable successful implementation and sustained business adoption.
  • Manage vendor and third-party performance expectations, deliverables, and service-level outcomes to ensure external partners support project objectives, quality standards, and business needs.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years Scrum Master or Project Manager experience
  • 5+ years global Salesforce implementation experience
  • Experience with Azure DevOps preferred
  • Business analyst skills
  • Preferred certifications: Scrum Master, PMP
