Senior IT Manager

We are now looking for a Senior IT Manager to lead our technology function and support our continued growth across both our retail network and digital channels. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of IT at Blue Illusion — shaping strategy, strengthening systems, and leading a capable team in a dynamic and evolving retail environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the, overall performance, stability and future direction of our technology landscape. Blending strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you will
play a key role in enabling the business through reliable systems, thoughtful investment decisions and strong cross-functional partnerships.

What You’ll Do

Lead Technology Strategy

• Translate business priorities into clear and practical IT initiatives
• Support retail and omnichannel growth across POS, inventory and digital systems
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

Own IT Delivery & Performance

• Take accountability for system performance, uptime and service delivery
• Lead a hands-on IT function, contributing to technical problem-solving where needed
• Proactively manage risks and resolve issues ahead of impact

Develop & Inspire a Small Team

• Lead, coach and support a high-performing IT team
• Build capability and resilience through cross-skilling
• Foster a collaborative, accountable and supportive culture

Partner Across the Business

• Build strong relationships across retail, finance and operations
• Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Balance competing priorities with professionalism and clarity

Enhance Service & Experience

• Ensure seamless IT experiences for stores, support centre and customers
• Maintain stability across critical, customer-facing systems
• Continuously improve responsiveness and service delivery

Manage Vendors & Systems

• Oversee external partners, contracts and service agreements
• Ensure value, performance and alignment to business needs
• Maintain secure, stable and fit-for-purpose technology

Support Change & Governance

• Lead system upgrades and change initiatives with minimal disruption
• Manage IT risk, including cybersecurity and data protection
• Maintain appropriate governance while enabling agility

About You

You are a pragmatic and hands-on IT leader who enjoys working in a lean environment where you can make a tangible impact.

You bring:

• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, ideally within retail or multi-site businesses
• Strong understanding of retail systems and customer experience
• The ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution
• Experience managing vendors, budgets and technology roadmaps
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across the business
• A proactive, solutions-focused and accountable mindset
