Position Overview
Northland Control Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Manager – Corporate Applications to lead the strategy, delivery, and operations of our enterprise business applications ecosystem. This role is responsible for ensuring stable and scalable application operations, strong governance, and high adoption of critical systems across the organization.
With a strong focus on NetSuite ERP, financial systems, project management, supply chain, and HR platforms, this position partners closely with Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to support business growth, compliance needs, and digital transformation initiatives.
This role manages a global team of ERP, data, and development specialists, oversees key vendor relationships, and drives a roadmap aligned with Northland’s long-term goals.
What You’ll Do
Enterprise Applications Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for Northland’s corporate applications, supporting modernization and scalability
- Sponsor major NetSuite initiatives including revenue management, consolidation, procurement automation, and inventory optimization
- Govern NetSuite upgrades, patch cycles, sandbox refreshes, and regression testing
Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Own solution architecture across NetSuite modules including Financials, Order Management, Inventory, Projects, SuiteCommerce, and SuitePeople
- Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Govern customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, workflows, and reporting
Integrations & Data Governance
- Oversee integrations through iPaaS/ESB tools such as Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft
- Lead Master Data Management strategy across customers, vendors, items, and pricing
- Govern reporting and analytics across SuiteAnalytics and platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
Operations, Reliability & Compliance
- Manage L2/L3 application support, incident/change management, and release cycles
- Define SLAs, improve uptime, reduce recurring incidents, and implement operational KPIs
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy requirements, vendor risk controls, and audit readiness
Vendor, Budget & Stakeholder Management
- Manage systems integrators and service providers, ensuring high-quality delivery
- Own the corporate applications budget and optimize licensing and SuiteApp utilization
- Build strong relationships with executive and functional leaders to drive adoption and change management
AI Strategy & Transformation
- Lead development of an AI-enabled applications strategy across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Analytics
- Identify opportunities for automation, predictive insights, and GenAI-enabled productivity
- Ensure responsible AI practices including privacy, bias mitigation, and access governance
Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global applications team
- Drive accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-department collaboration
- Provide escalation support and strategic decision-making across IT initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- 12+ years supporting or leading ERP and business applications
- 8+ years managing global IT/application teams and cross-functional delivery programs
NetSuite Expertise
Hands-on experience across core and advanced NetSuite capabilities, including:
- Financial Management, Order Management, Inventory, CRM, Procurement
- SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, Saved Searches, integrations, and SuiteApps
- Experience with WMS, ARM, SuitePeople, and performance tuning is highly valued
Integration & Technical Skills
- Experience with Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, REST APIs, and ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with Azure/AWS fundamentals
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft enterprise tools (SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot, O365)
Business Process Knowledge
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes including:
- Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire
Preferred

Qualifications
- Multi-entity/multi-currency consolidation experience
- Exposure to Salesforce, ADP/UKG payroll, Avalara, OpenAir/PSA
- Certifications such as NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, ITIL, PMP, SAFe
Soft Skills
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence
- Strong analytical problem-solving ability
- Proven coaching, leadership, and vendor management skills

Work Environment & Expectations
- Office-based role in Letchworth, UK
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
