$2,500 Hiring Bonus!GCI's Senior IT Logistics Technician will support companywide IT purchasing activities by working with vendors and internal teams to ensure equipment and software needs are met according to business initiatives and company guidelines. Assist in coordinating orders, tracking deliveries, and evaluating cost-effective options. Provide input on hardware and software choices to help teams make informed decisions that align with budget and business goals.

o Understanding of relevant IT hardware (i.e., servers, switches, computers, etc.) and IT software (versions, cheaper alternatives, etc.) to make informed purchase decisions.
o Knowledge of Microsoft Windows/PC and Apple iOS/Operating Systems, messaging platforms, desktop applications, network security concepts, configurations, and component offerings.
o Knowledge of web-based ticketing systems.

This is a senior level position within the discipline functioning as a subject matter expert (SME). Demonstrates advanced knowledge and proficiency in areas of responsibility. Performs complex tasks and job duties, receiving minimal to no instruction on routine work and new assignments. Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Due to business needs employees may be contacted outside of the core business hours to respond to the immediate emergency.
