Would you like to help shape our success story? As a (Senior) IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/x) at our headquarter in Saarbrücken, you will proactively support our internal IT department and make a significant contribution to the stable operation and continuous development of our IT infrastructure. You will manage our existing systems in the areas of virtualisation, networking, firewalls, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, ensuring reliable and smooth operation. You will analyse faults in a structured manner, develop sustainable solutions and ensure that our systems remain stable and future-proof in the long term. In addition, you will contribute to the further development of our IT landscape in both on-premise and cloud environments and play an active role in technical measures and infrastructure projects. You will keep a close eye on the latest developments and trends and, with your expertise, make a significant contribution to the continuous optimisation and advancement of our IT systems.

Your profile: 

• Completed apprenticeship or a degree in IT or a comparable qualification
• Several years’ professional experience in the operation of IT infrastructures
• Knowledge of virtualisation, backup, monitoring and networks/firewalls
• Ideally, experience in the Microsoft Cloud environment (M365 / Azure)
• Fluent German and good English skills 
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to work and a strong team spirit
