Job Description

Take ownership of a complex, multi-site IT environment and play a key role in shaping secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure across the organisation. This is a senior hands-on engineering role focused on architecture, security, and continuous improvement rather than day-to-day support.

🎯 Your Role

• 
  Own and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure and network architecture
• 
  Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable environments
• 
  Lead infrastructure upgrade and digital transformation projects
• 
  Act as 2nd and 3rd line escalation for complex technical issues
• 
  Manage firewalls, routing, switching, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and security policies
• 
  Administer servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backups, and disaster recovery systems
• 
  Support hybrid environments across on-premises and Microsoft Azure
• 
  Manage identity and device platforms (Entra ID, Intune, and related services)
• 
  Lead Microsoft 365 services including collaboration and productivity tools
• 
  Work closely with external managed service providers and vendors
• 
  Define infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices
• 
  Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and security posture

💡 What We Are Looking For

• 
  3+ years in a senior infrastructure or network engineering role
• 
  Strong hands-on experience with networking (firewalls, VLANs, routing, switching, WAN)
• 
  Experience with enterprise security and infrastructure best practices
• 
  Solid Windows Server and virtualization experience (VMware or Hyper-V)
• 
  Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
• 
  Microsoft 365 administration experience (Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, etc.)
• 
  Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• 
  Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• 
  Ability to lead infrastructure projects independently
• 
  Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware) are an advantage
• 
  Experience in multi-site or hospitality environments is a plus
• 
  Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell) are an advantage
