Senior IT Infrastructure / Application Architect
We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure & Application Architect to support a large-scale digital platform responsible for managing and optimizing operational processes, service delivery, and stakeholder coordination within a complex public-sector environment. The role combines architecture leadership, incident governance, infrastructure oversight, and technical coordination to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing IT services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, define, document, implement, and monitor the overall ICT architecture for systems and applications.
Establish and enforce incident management and operational governance processes using ITSM best practices.
Analyze and prioritize incidents based on business impact, service interruption, affected users, financial impact, and citizen impact.
Support internal ICT teams in defining technical standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
Contribute to business analyses involving infrastructure and application architecture components.
Evaluate technical solutions and supplier proposals from an architectural perspective.
Produce estimates, planning documents, technical analyses, and implementation roadmaps.
Monitor project execution, quality, performance, compliance, and testing activities.
Identify risks and recommend improvements to service quality, efficiency, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate stakeholders across business, operations, and technical teams.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior IT Architect within a public-sector IT environment.
Strong knowledge of application and infrastructure architecture.
Experience with incident management, operational governance, and IT service management.
Expertise in:
Azure (PaaS/IaaS)
Azure Active Directory
Terraform
VMware
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Git
Windows Server environments
Strong understanding of infrastructure, software, and system architecture principles.
Experience working with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira.
Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM frameworks.
