As a Senior IT Engineer (Manufacturing Operations), you’ll define and deliver the infrastructure that powers ICEYE’s satellite production, ensuring our manufacturing environments are scalable, resilient, and secure so production lines operate without interruption.

Requirements

Your day to day responsibilities:

• Define and implement scalable provisioning strategies for manufacturing systems, including Infrastructure-as-Code, PXE, and automated imaging
• Own the lifecycle management and configuration of Linux workstation fleets and specialized Windows-based testing environments
• Standardize lab environments globally, transitioning from bespoke setups to centrally managed, repeatable infrastructure
• Integrate and troubleshoot specialized manufacturing hardware, ensuring reliable connectivity across industrial interfaces and networks

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in Linux systems engineering (Ubuntu or Debian) within industrial, lab, or manufacturing environments
• Deep expertise in system provisioning and automation methodologies such as PXE, pre-seeding, or configuration management tools
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, and hardware communication protocols such as serial interfaces
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and stabilize complex hardware and software integrations in production-critical environments

• Nice to haves:
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox and hybrid infrastructure environments including AWS
• Familiarity with identity and access management systems such as Okta or Active Directory
• Exposure to manufacturing or engineering tools and environments such as Autodesk Vault or similar systems

Base salary range for this position is contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
