Senior IT Communications Specialist

General Description:
This position will interface with all levels of the organization to support IT and EPIC communications and marketing content. Working closely with marketing and IT leadership, the senior IT communications specialist will be responsible for the development, creation and implementation of a wide range of communications projects and messaging development, including leadership updates and other internal communications.
The individual will have experience in messaging development and presentation preparation. Knowledge of IT and EPIC services and healthcare technologies is required. The senior IT communications specialist will be an effective communicator and collaborative team member, and serve as a creative, thoughtful source of current best practices for our marketing efforts.

General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, computer science, information science or related, required. Master’s degree in any of these areas preferred.
Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a marketing communication capacity -- healthcare and/or IT managed services industry – with proven skill and experience in technical writing, marketing and/or communications, preferred.
OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: This position requires a valid driver’s license, and that the employee is insurable by the OU Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
