Job Description
You move confidently at the intersection of technology and business, because you truly understand both worlds. Whether it's system architecture, user stories or client meetings, you understand how systems are built and what matters when delivering them. For you, senior-level requirements engineering means reading code, understanding dependencies and actively shaping solutions. New technologies such as AI tools and agentic engineering are already part of your toolkit, and you want to keep developing your expertise in these areas.
Your responsibilities
- You take functional ownership of our clients' critical applications, acting as the driving force from requirement to production-ready solution
- You understand the architecture behind the systems you analyse, and you talk as an equal with sparring partners such as development teams, architects and decision makers
- You lead the full requirements lifecycle, from needs elicitation and analysis to solution design, together with business and technical stakeholders
- You identify and analyse business requirements and document them as user stories for delivery using agile methods
- You evaluate the use of AI tools and methods (e.g. generative AI, process automation) in client projects and help clients assess their potential and risks
- You identify project risks early, define mitigation measures and communicate them clearly, internally and externally
- You run system tests to ensure the quality of the solution
- Alongside your main role as business analyst, you lead a maintenance project and coordinate the work internally and with the client
What we offer
- A dynamic work environment with a young, highly motivated team
- Many opportunities to broaden your knowledge and experience through a wide range of exciting projects, clients and technologies
- Attractive prospects for professional and personal growth, with several internal career paths
- A flat hierarchy and a culture of collaboration across all disciplines
- The chance to make a difference in people's lives by building great software
- Work-life balance (41 hours per week with flexible hours, at least 25 days of vacation) and an ergonomic, flexible workplace in a multicultural environment
- Attractive benefits, such as a contribution to your mobile phone or a business phone, a half-fare travelcard and first-class train travel on business trips, attractive pension fund plans, non-occupational accident insurance (private, worldwide), advanced daily sickness allowance insurance and fleet discounts
What you bring
- A degree (ETH, university or university of applied sciences) in IT or business administration, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst or requirements engineer in IT projects, ideally with Java/SE-based systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience supporting internal and external stakeholders in a respectful, solution-oriented way
- The ability to communicate clearly and convincingly in French and English, written and spoken, including in tenders and marketing contexts
- Experience with AI-assisted business analysis (e.g. using LLMs for requirements elicitation, AI-based process optimisation, Copilot tools in day-to-day project work) and an interest in agentic engineering
- Analytical sharpness, ownership and the drive not just to support projects but to move them forward
