The IT Business Analyst plays a critical role in aligning business objectives with technology solutions, enabling effective decision-making and delivery of high-impact initiatives. This role contributes to optimizing business processes, improving system efficiency, and supporting successful project delivery across enterprise platforms. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with business and IT stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation. You will play a key role in shaping and enhancing systems, workflows, and customer outcomes through data-driven insights and solution design.
Position Responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and requirements
Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements
Evaluate existing systems and recommend technology solutions aligned with business needs
Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, translating requirements into technical solutions
Support implementation activities including solution design, testing, and user acceptance
Prioritize initiatives to ensure alignment with business strategy and project goals
Monitor implemented solutions and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement
Contribute to successful project delivery by ensuring solutions meet business expectations and technical standards
Define and monitor SLAs related to intake and customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in business process analysis and workflow optimization
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
Experience working with cross-functional teams (business and IT stakeholders)
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Understanding of enterprise systems, technologies, and system integration
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience delivering technology-enabled business solutions
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Background in systems analysis, application development, or enterprise platforms
Experience supporting continuous improvement or transformation initiatives
Exposure to SLA management and operational performance tracking

Salary range is expected to be between
$113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD
Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
