We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst with strong SQL expertise and solid functional analysis experience to join us in Lugano.
The role acts as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting business needs and IT projects in the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

• Define and manage functional analysis for regulatory, business, and IT projects
• Define, plan, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
• Take ownership of complex functional incidents in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Leverage advanced SQL to analyze, manipulate, and extract data in support of business needs
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and propose IT solutions aligned with business requirements

Must-have Skills:

• Proven experience of at least 5+ years in an IT Business Analyst role within banking or financial services environments
• Strong SQL expertise, enabling advanced querying, data analysis, and effective interpretation of database structure
• Demonstrated capability in business and functional analysis within complex environments, coupled with the ability to design and model IT solutions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently while remaining strongly focused on results
• Fluent in Italian and English
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

Location Requirement:

• This position is fully office-based, requiring a 5-day-per-week on-site commitment
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino/Switzerland, or be willing to commute from nearby Italian border towns
