A Day in the Life

Lead the design and delivery of scalable IT architectures that drive digital transformation across manufacturing operations. Define integration strategies connecting MES, ERP, SCADA, IIoT, and cloud platforms to enable a secure, unified digital ecosystem. Establish architecture standards for, data governance, and infrastructure to ensure compliant, reliable, and resilient operations. Support technology roadmaps that advance smart factory capabilities through automation, advanced analytics, and real-time visibility. Partner with engineering, operations, and IT teams to modernize legacy systems, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable IT architectures enabling manufacturing digital transformation initiatives across plants and production sites.

  • Define and implement integration strategies connecting MES, ERP, SCADA, IIoT, and cloud platforms to create a unified digital ecosystem.

  • Establish data governance, and infrastructure standards to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant manufacturing operations.

  • Support technology roadmaps supporting smart factory capabilities, advanced analytics, automation, and real-time operational visibility.

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to modernize legacy systems and drive continuous improvement across plan, build, and run environments.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with overall 7+years experience and 3-5+ years of relevant experience in Industry 4.0 & Digital transformation, supporting manufacturing transformation programs.

  • Experience designing and implementing architecture solutions that integrate Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and cloud technologies.

  • Experience developing architecture standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps for complex operational environments.

  • Experience applying data governance principles within manufacturing or operational technology ecosystems.

  • Experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives involving engineering, operations, and IT stakeholders.

Nice to Have Experience:

  • Experience applying Industry 4.0 technologies such as smart factory platforms, digital twins, advanced analytics, machine learning, or real-time manufacturing intelligence.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems and standards, including ISA-95, ISA-88, GMP, validation practices, and regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, data lakes, APIs, middleware, or enterprise integration patterns for large-scale manufacturing ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies in manufacturing operations.

  • Experience influencing global or multi-site stakeholders and translating business needs into scalable architecture decisions and roadmaps.
