We’re looking for a Senior IS administrator join us at Telia.

I‘m Rolandas Levinskas - Team Manager of the Client Applications team at Telia Lietuva. I am looking for a Senior IS administrator to join us in Vilnius or Šiauliai. We are working with new technologies and our task is to ensure, that our customers are getting the best service possible. It‘s a rare opportunity to join us and achieve great things together.

What you’ll do:

We work across two main focus areas: client applications and our shared product, the Telia Call Center Platform. In this role, your primary focus will be on the Call Center (CC) platform. In this challenging role, you will take ownership of CC application architecture and infrastructure, making key decisions related to system design, security, and lifecycle management. A significant part of the work involves the telephony layer, particularly Asterisk configuration and continuous improvements.

This position also offers strong opportunities for professional growth, with the potential to expand into a broader client applications support domain over time.

You will be responsible for:

  • Application architecture and infrastructure, making key decisions related to system design, security, and lifecycle management.
  • Timely and effective resolution of incidents, PIR reports.
  • Collaboration with other supporting teams to resolve more complex issues.
  • Constant improvement of platform monitoring and observability.
  • Generating and implementing automation and standardization ideas to reduce repetitive tasks and improve team performance.

What will help you thrive in this role:

You are a quick learner who is eager to grow your skills. You have experience supporting and working with enterprise size Linux environments and sufficient knowledge in:

  • Web servers (nginx, apache);
  • Networks;
  • IP telephony technologies and systems.
  • Asterisk or other PBX and telephony toolkits;
  • Databases;
  • Scripting languages (Bash or other).

We would consider as an advantage:

  • Hands-on experience with AI solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, from idea to deployment.
  • Foundational knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations.
  • Some programming practical knowledge (PHP/Python).
  • Possession of relevant certification (i.e. RHCSA/RHCE, etc.);
  • Understanding of ITIL processes.

Monthly salary range for this position – 3600-5400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
