What you will do:

  • Generate, validate and issue accurate invoices to clients and cluster accounting teams in line with agreed timetables, SLA requirements, and internal billing policies, whilst ensuring correct supporting data, approvals, and recharged expense allocation.

  • Analyse staff time-recordings and billing data, investigate exceptions, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders to maintain billing accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Produce and circulate billing recovery and performance reports, highlighting key variances and drivers, whilst supporting trade debtor management and month-end close activities to ensure accurate ledgers and reporting.

  • Serve as the key point of contact for cluster teams on billing queries, driving timely resolution and clear communication whilst partnering with operational teams to obtain required inputs and keep billing deliverables on track.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives, maintaining and improving procedures and controls through practical updates and best practice sharing.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

You will demonstrate our Group Values (Authentic, Bold, and Collaborative) and bring the following to this role:

  • You have strong accounting knowledge with practical experience in invoicing, billing, or accounts receivable within a shared service centre or professional services environment, coupled with a solid understanding of billing cycles, revenue recognition, and month-end processes.
  • You are highly organised, process-oriented, and capable of managing high-volume, deadline-driven workloads whilst maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail under pressure.
  • You possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation) and billing/ERP systems, with the ability to extract, validate, reconcile data, and interpret billing rules and allocation methodologies.
  • You are a collaborative team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of partnering effectively with operations, finance, and cluster teams to resolve queries and drive timely outcomes.
  • You are analytical and proactive in problem-solving, with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives, with fluent English (written and spoken) being essential
  • English is mandatory (written and spoken).
