Your role and impact

Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities and the meaningful impact you'll create as the Senior Investment Systems & Operations Associate:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for key investment operations workflows, including reconciliations, pricing updates, tracking cash movement, and custody account management.
• Create and deploy software solutions, integrations, and AI-powered applications that improve operational efficiency and strengthen business processes.
• Create automated reporting and dashboards for senior management
• Create and maintain key user interfaces such as for trade order management and asset transfers
• Collaborate with investment, technology, finance, and operations teams to translate business and operational requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Lead and contribute to special projects while building strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support investment operations, including funding transactions, trade processing, foreign exchange conversions, and cash reconciliations.
• Oversee a growing portfolio of broad asset types while coordinating with portfolio managers, banks, custodians, and external asset managers.
• Support financial reporting, treasury operations, and accounting processes by delivering timely and accurate data.

Qualifications

What sets you up for success

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience developing software solutions, automation tools, AI-powered applications, or data-driven business solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience developing integrations using APIs, databases, and other data exchange technologies.
• Knowledge of complex investments, including private placements, derivatives, fixed income, mortgage loans, real estate, and equity securities.
• Experience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining reliable software solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in investments, financial services, insurance, or other transaction-intensive industries.
• Experience building workflow automation, data pipelines, reconciliation processes, or operational applications.
• Experience developing AI-powered solutions and using generative AI tools to improve business processes.
• Familiarity with investment technology platforms such as Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, investment accounting systems, or similar tools.
