Bogota, Colombia. Hybrid position.
iGravity is a specialized impact investment management and advisory firm committed to building a more equitable and sustainable financial system. We design and manage blended finance solutions that support local enterprises, delivering strong financial returns and meaningful social and environmental impact for both institutional investors and philanthropic partners.
iGravity works with development organizations across the investment lifecycle from early-stage strategy and innovative finance design to the development of robust Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) systems.
On the investment side, we manage private debt strategies focused on emerging markets. Our portfolio includes direct debt investments in local SMEs, as well as investments in local funds and private notes, all guided by clearly defined impact lenses and return expectations.
As part of our mission to channel catalytic capital to high-impact enterprises, we manage various facilities (Balim Investments, Refugee Investment Facility and SECO Start-up Fund) on behalf of our partners and investors. These funds provide high-impact SMEs in emerging markets with debt financing.
To support our scaling strategy and geographical expansion into new markets, we are seeking several dynamic and experienced investment professionals to join our team as Senior Investment Associates.
iGravity deploys and manages capital through investment strategies and facilities designed to strengthen enterprises and communities across emerging markets. Current publicly reported impact includes:
To lead the structuring, analysis, execution, and ongoing management of debt investments across emerging markets, ensuring rigorous investment decisions and effective portfolio oversight. The role exists to identify and support scalable, high-impact businesses and financial intermediaries through tailored financing solutions, while managing investments throughout their full lifecycle, from origination and due diligence to monitoring, exit, or resolution.
iGravity combines investment rigor with a genuine commitment to measurable impact. The team operates internationally and values professionals who can take ownership of their work while maintaining transparent and collaborative relationships with colleagues across different markets.
The ideal cultural fit is therefore someone who is independent without being individualistic, analytical without losing sight of real-world impact, and entrepreneurial while maintaining strong investment discipline. The organization works collaboratively across offices and values the combination of digital flexibility and in-person interaction.
The ideal candidate is motivated by the opportunity to use private capital as a tool for sustainable and inclusive development. They should be genuinely interested in financing businesses that can strengthen local economies while generating measurable social or environmental outcomes.
iGravity's impact strategy currently focuses on Nature & Climate Resilience, Livelihoods and Inclusive Economies, while its broader work includes financial inclusion, climate change mitigation and adaptation, migration and forced displacement, SME finance, sustainable agriculture and food systems, education and affordable housing.
This role offers the opportunity to join iGravity during an important phase of its expansion into Colombia and Latin America, following the opening of its Colombian presence in 2025.
The successful candidate will have meaningful ownership over the investment lifecycle - from origination and structuring to Investment Committee presentation and portfolio management - rather than being limited to a narrow analytical function. They will also join an international organization with colleagues across Bogotá, Zurich, Milan, Kampala and Nairobi, gaining exposure to different emerging markets and investment mandates.
Most importantly, the position combines the technical rigor of private credit investing with the opportunity to direct capital toward enterprises generating measurable social and environmental outcomes.
The role is based in Bogotá, Colombia, with an expectation of working from the office at least two days per week. Candidates must either be Colombian citizens or hold a valid Colombian work permit.
Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their debt investment track record through relevant SME financing transactions, specifying the sector, instrument, deal size and their individual role in origination, due diligence, structuring and/or portfolio monitoring.
The selection process includes a 1–2 hour home-based assessment, followed by virtual and, where possible, in-person interviews.
