Job Description

Our client is a reputable advisory boutique in Kazakhstan, serving some of the most prominent local and international clients in M&A and portfolio company management.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in M&A and Debt Advisory transactions from inception to completion, including buy-side, sell-side, joint ventures, venture capital, and private equity investments.
• Develop and assess financial models.
• Conduct business valuations, financial analyses, comparable analysis, and benchmarking.
• Prepare presentations, teasers, information memoranda, and analytical reports for clients.
• Conduct market analysis, strategy development, and competitive analysis.
• Engage in negotiations and client interactions at all stages of the deal.
• Collaborate with the Investment Director and partners to achieve strategic goals.

Requirements:

• Higher education in finance or economics from a top-tier university; CFA certification is a plus.
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, and valuation within investment banks, in-house M&A teams, private equity or venture capital firms, or Big 4.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling and business valuation.
• Strong technical skills in financial modeling and business assessment (proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, financial databases).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Russian is essential; knowledge of Kazakh is advantageous.
• International experience is a plus.

Location and Compensation:

• Full-time position based in Astana, Kazakhstan.
• Competitive compensation package: fixed salary plus bonus.
• Reporting directly to the Investment Director and partners.
