We have an exciting new opportunity to join our close-knit, friendly and high-performing team as a Senior Investigator within our Regulatory Operations division at the NSW EPA.
In this role, you will support and conduct complex investigations into serious and major environmental and conservation incidents and suspected breaches of relevant legislation. You will work across a range of sensitive and often complex matters, using your investigative expertise to gather evidence, develop investigative strategies and support effective enforcement outcomes.
You will also provide trusted investigative advice to key stakeholders, prepare complex reports and briefs of evidence, and contribute to the development of enforcement policies, strategies and operational approaches.
An important part of the role is sharing your expertise with others. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver investigation and enforcement training, helping to build investigative capability across the EPA and other cluster agencies.
You are an experienced investigator who brings sound judgement, strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex and sensitive investigations.
