About the role
Coordinates the development of advertising/marketing communications materials by creative design and creative writing services to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and prospects. Applies various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the organization and its products, services and brands. Develops and coordinates multimedia packages (e.g., letters, brochures, video, point-of-purchase displays). May involve use of sponsorship, events and sales promotions. Developing professional role with working knowledge in own discipline. Solves a range of routine problems. Demonstrates some proficiency with concepts and processes. Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction from more senior level roles.
Job Responsibilities
1. Assist the Marketing Manager in executing the international promotion plan for exhibitions, planning and implementing targeted recruitment strategies for different audience types to increase both exhibitor and visitor numbers and satisfaction.
2. Collaborate closely with the exhibition team to complete various written materials and printed collateral required for exhibition promotion in accordance with the Project Manager’s guidelines.
3. Establish and maintain the audience community database, expanding the database and keeping the community active through both online channels and offline events.
4. Take responsibility for the planning, operation, and execution of pre-event, on-site, and online/offline activities and meetings, as well as post-event audience follow-up and data collection to produce related market analysis reports.
5. Supervise and guide suppliers in designing exhibition promotion materials (both printed and digital), such as exhibition briefings, invitations, on-site guides, exhibition posters, video edits, etc.
6. Collaborate with the company’s digital marketing department to manage social media platforms, creating and providing high-quality, highly shareable content for fans; responsible for topic selection, content editing, key news editing and publishing; accountable for core metrics such as article views and follower counts; and, through in-depth analysis of overseas social media data, develop optimization measures and plans to enhance core metrics.
7. Work closely with the company’s digital marketing department to formulate SEM placements and promotional and event plans for E-products on platforms such as Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok; complete creative planning, content writing & preparation, and post-campaign review for ad placements.
8. Oversee overseas market promotion and marketing efforts, expand the overseas exhibition database, and establish positive relationships with overseas media associations and other partners.
9. Collect information on competing exhibitions and provide evaluation reports as per the Project Manager’s requirements.
10. Establish deep collaborations with potential partners, maintain close relationships with industry media and associations, and gather industry trend and statistical data.
11. Follow up on offline meetups, media briefings, opening ceremonies, banquets, and other activities to maintain industry relationships and improve exhibition customer satisfaction.
12. Plan project schedules reasonably, coordinate project resources actively and effectively, monitor the execution process, and ensure project progress and quality.
Qualifications
1. A bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
2. Approximately 3–5 years of relevant work experience in overseas market communications; candidates with such experience are preferred.
3. Excellent writing skills, with strong capabilities in new media thematic planning and information gathering/editing.
4. Proficient in both Chinese and English communication.
5. Exceptional time management, multitasking, and stress resistance capabilities.
6. Eager to learn, proactive, and possess strong logical thinking.
7. Diligent, patient, ambitious, willing to challenge oneself, and exhibit a high level of professionalism, dedication, and team spirit, with strong communication skills.
