Make an impact as Senior International Accountant

Join our International Accounting & Corporate Income Tax Services (IACTS) team, part of the Global Tax Centre Europe (GTC), which is a recognized Center of Excellence for statutory accounting, direct tax, and indirect tax services.

IACTS focuses primarily on statutory accounting and direct tax compliance, supporting multinational companies across more than 30 countries and ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations.

Working alongside our experienced professionals, you will contribute to delivering efficient, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting and tax support through tailored, client-focused solutions.

Your journey with us

Client Advisory: Engage with diverse multinational clients, proactively addressing financial reporting and compliance requirements within statutory accounting frameworks.

GAAP Conversion & Reporting: Lead the conversion of accounts from management GAAP (US GAAP or IFRS) to local GAAP, leveraging different technology solutions and AI-enabled automation to support the preparation and timely, compliant filing of statutory financial statements.

Standardized Solutions: Support clients in implementing centralized and standardized statutory reporting packages, leveraging Deloitte's proprietary tools and AI-powered solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Expert Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for ad hoc local GAAP-specific queries, providing expert guidance.

Team Development: Coach and mentor junior team members, and collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality accounting and tax services to our international client portfolio.

Let’s talk about you

Academic Foundation:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Tax.

Relevant Experience:

• Proven experience of at least 4 years in accounting and statutory reporting work, ideally within a multinational or consulting environment. Familiarity with corporate tax principles within a statutory reporting context would be an advantage.

Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and practical experience with various European GAAPs.
• Demonstrated understanding of corporate tax principles and the ability to identify and assess tax implications within statutory accounting.

Key Skills:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders across multiple countries.
• A client-centric approach, confident in providing practical and impactful recommendations.

Mindset:

• Adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic, cross-border environments with rapidly evolving regulatory frameworks.
