At GXO, we’re growing our Internal Audit function and looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to support both SOX ITGC testing and IT internal audits This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative global team and play a key role in ensuring compliance, strengthening controls, and supporting business performance.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £72,500 and a company car, plus 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver SOX ITGC testing and IT audit fieldwork, ensuring controls are operating effectively and aligned to GXO’s framework
• Identify risks, control gaps, and areas for improvement, providing clear and actionable recommendations
• Prepare detailed audit documentation and reports that support findings and business decisions
• Work across international teams to support audit cycles, timelines, and compliance activities
• Take ownership of assigned audits from planning through to completion, maintaining high standards and meeting strict deadlines

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven experience in SOX ITGC testing and IT internal audits, including hands-on involvement in testing and identifying efficiencies
• Strong understanding of IT risk areas such as cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, or IT general controls
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple audit cycles effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work across global teams
• A proactive, adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and ownership of your work
