Job Description

Our client is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to join their HK office. This role will play a crucial role in assessing the group's internal control systems, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive financial and operational evaluations of internal control systems to identify potential risks across all areas of the organisation's business operations in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
• Perform detailed testing and analysis of financial and operational processes, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify control improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to mitigate risks, enhance operational efficiency, and safeguard company assets.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and associated action plans for management's attention.
• Participate in special projects and investigations as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of solid professional experience in the internal audit department of a sizable company or professional audit firm.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua.
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments, developing audit plans, and executing audit procedures.
• Mainland China and property development experiences are advantageous.
