WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: Build Your Career on Our Standalone Transformation).

• In your new position, you own the regional risk assessment and develop our BASF Agricultural Solutions annual risk-based audit plan.
• Your expertise is in demand! You direct and conduct country audits across finance, operations, IT, and compliance, including regular travel to the respective locations.
• You ensure consistent audit methodology and high-quality execution as well as timely and reliable reporting of audit results.
• In addition, you monitor remediation activities and ensure that identified findings and risks are appropriately followed up.
• Leadership with heart and mind: You manage the regional audit team and guide your colleagues in the successful delivery of the regional audit plan.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration, IT, or a comparable discipline
• several years of professional experience in internal audit, risk management, compliance, or a comparable international environment, ideally including leadership experience
• sound knowledge of risk-based auditing as well as experience across finance, operations, IT, and compliance
• excellent English skills as well as confident use of standard MS Office applications; willingness to travel internationally
• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
• strong analytical and organizational skills combined with effective communication skills and a solution-oriented way of working
