This is what you will do

As Senior Internal Auditor, you will be part of Lantmännen's Group Internal Audit function and contribute to creating value through independent, risk-based audits across the Group. You will plan, execute, and report audit engagements within our divisions, business areas, and Group functions, providing insights and recommendations that strengthen governance, internal control, and risk management.

The role offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of a wide range of businesses, spanning agriculture, machinery, bioenergy, food, and real estate. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders at different levels of the organization and support the Group's ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and business performance.

You will also contribute to the development of the annual risk-based audit plan and play an active role in further evolving the Internal Audit function's methodology and ways of working.

The Internal Audit function reports functionally to the Audit Committee, with the Board as its principal stakeholder. Organizationally, the function is part of Group Legal Affairs & Compliance and works closely with Group Finance. The position is based at Lantmännen's headquarters in Stockholm and includes travel within Sweden and internationally. You will report to Janica Cronedal, Chief Compliance Officer & Director Internal Audit Lantmännen Group.

This is what you need to succeed

You have:

  • Relevant academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • 5-7 years experience working within internal audit, external audit, internal control, or a related advisory function,
  • A strong understanding of governance, risk management, and internal control processes
  • Experience leading projects and engaging with stakeholders across different levels of an organization
  • CIA, CISA certification, or experience within IT audit, is considered an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English
