We're looking for 2 Intermediate or Senior Test Engineersto join the Plexure team! You'll become part of a global, growing SaaS company at an exciting point in our growth journey. Based in Auckland CBD, you'll enjoy WFH days + lots of lovely benefits (more on those below).

What will you do?

• As part of our Consumer Pillar, you'll join forces with your cross-functional squad to tackle challenges across identity, security, consent, and consumer data platforms
• These roles sit within a cloud-native engineering environment that is heavily API-driven, automation-focused, and increasingly AI-assisted. You’ll help shape how quality engineering evolves in an environment where AI is generating much of the application and test code, requiring deeper thinking around coverage quality, intent validation, and system reliability.
• Depending on the squad, your work may include
  • Testing modern identity and authentication platforms, including login flows, authorisation services, fraud prevention, and third-party security integrations
  • Supporting consent management and consumer privacy initiatives across global markets
  • Designing, reviewing, and improving automated test coverage across API, integration, regression, E2E, smoke, performance, and security testing
  • Critically reviewing AI-generated code and tests to ensure they are meaningful, robust, and aligned to system intent
  • Performing white-box and black-box testing across distributed cloud-native systems
  • Contributing to performance, chaos, privacy, and security-focused testing practices
  • Collaborating closely with engineers in a modern CI/CD environment to improve quality, reliability, and platform resilience
  • Using AI tooling as part of day-to-day engineering and testing workflows

• Our tech stack includes C#, .NET, JavaScript, Azure, Playwright, Postman, k6, and JMeter

What are we looking for?

• Experience across API, automation, integration, and E2E testing (performance testing would be a plus)
• A genuine QA mindset, with strong curiosity, critical thinking, and the ability to challenge assumptions, edge cases, and coverage quality
• Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools in real workflows.
• The ability to review, challenge, and improve AI-generated code, tests, PRs, and explanations.
• Enough coding capability to understand and question implementations in an object-oriented programming language
• Experience working in cloud-native environments, distributed systems, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
