Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor interior design consultants on FF&E aspects, schedules and costs to meet owner requirements and budgets

  • Ensure consultant deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports, schedules, budgets) are completed on time; review and provide comments

  • Support value-engineering efforts by recommending cost-effective suppliers and alternative solutions without compromising design intent

  • Define design needs and planning criteria; coordinate closely with consultant teams on FF&E changes

  • Resolve critical design issues affecting progress or overall design quality

  • Lead in-house and consultant teams through the design process Manage projects from concept to completion, maintaining creative intent and quality at all stages

  • Develop project briefs, requirements and design schedules with internal stakeholders

  • Liaise with operations, consultants and contractors to implement design directions and ensure successful delivery

  • Review and coordinate construction drawings, details and material specifications

  • Create and manage FF&E specifications, handle sourcing, selection and procurement coordination

  • Select and review finishes, materials and FF&E samples; maintain supplier communication

  • Conduct on-site supervision and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards

  • Maintain accurate design documentation, detailing and quality control

  • Prepare presentation materials, drawings and reports for design reviews and management updates

  • Maintain and organize the material and FF&E library; attend vendor presentations to monitor new products and trends

  • Support procurement for materials, furniture and decorative items as needed

  • Coordinate with construction manager and site teams for smooth project execution

  • Demonstrate strong enthusiasm for design and FF&E; contribute to team creativity and innovation

  • Undertake other project-related duties as assigned; adhere to attendance and performance policies

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in architectural/interior design (interior firms or design management within property developers). At least 5 years’ experience in hospitality and/or gaming interior projects required

  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent field. (Fine Arts credentials a plus)

  • Proven experience managing and leading design project teams. (Macau experience is advantageous)

  • Experience coordinating production/installation of large-scale art or sculptures is desirable

  • Able to produce sketches, perspectives and details. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD. (Knowledge of AI design tools is a plus)

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Positive, proactive, responsible, with strong attention to detail. Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure

  • Willingness to visit factories, conduct inspections and coordinate with vendors as required.
