As a Senior Interior Designer specializing in hospitality design, you will lead and oversee the design process from concept through completion. Your expertise and passion for creating captivating, functional, and inviting spaces will be instrumental in shaping the guest experience within hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other hospitality venues. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to bring your design visions to life, ensuring exceptional quality and creativity in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Assume a project lead role in design.
Reporting to the Interior Design Director, you would lead projects with minimum supervision. This includes conceptualization and development of interior design concepts that align with the client's vision and project goals.
Develop mood boards, sketches, and design proposals to convey your ideas effectively.
Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts to life through detailed design development and space planning.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring that design solutions meet and exceed their expectations.
Work with FF&E Designers to select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and budget.
Take ownership of selected projects as the design lead, coordinating project deliverables, timelines, and design resources to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate with consultants and project teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout documentation, construction, and installation phases.
Participate in site visits, design reviews, and project meetings to monitor progress and ensure the highest standards of design quality.
Stay informed of emerging hospitality, lifestyle, and luxury design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
Valid right to work in South Korea (Korean citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work visa).
8 - 15 years of professional experience, with a portfolio demonstrating hospitality project experience (luxury hospitality, resorts high-end residential, clubhouse, F&B, wellness (Candidates with less experience may be considered for Interior Designer positions)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suites, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience with Revit, 3ds Max, D5, and Enscape is advantageous
Hands on experience in incorporate AI in design would be a definite advantage
Fluent in English; Korean language proficiency is highly desirable
