Job Description

Severn Trent isn’t all water and wastewater in the Midlands. Severn Trent Services (STS) is a thriving non-regulated business providing outstanding services in the Utilities sector across the UK. We have an ambitious growth plan and are exploring a wealth of exciting strategic opportunities to cement our place as one of the sector leaders.

If you want to do more, and come on this journey, we want you on our team.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

STS is a business of £100 million turnover and we are proud to announce we are recruiting a Senior Integration Lead for our Aqualytix business.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering the effective integration of acquired businesses, teams, systems and processes into the wider group. You will ensure integrations are delivered through strong programme and project management disciplines, maintaining business continuity, realising value, and aligning with the group’s operating model, culture and governance requirements.

You will combine strategic oversight with hands-on programme delivery, bringing structure, pace and assurance to complex, multi-workstream integrations.

Some of your key responsibilities include: -

  • Lead end‑to‑end integration programmes from deal close through to business‑as‑usual, applying structured programme and project management methodologies.
  • Define the integration roadmap, programme governance, workstream structure, milestones and dependencies.
  • Maintain clear critical paths, managing risks, issues, assumptions and decisions through formal controls.
  • Ensure effective transition of accountabilities to functional owners once integration activity is complete.
  • Establish and manage programme plans, RAID logs, cost trackers and benefit realisation plans.
  • Coordinate multiple interdependent projects across functions such as HR, Finance, IT, Legal and Operations.
  • Monitor delivery against scope, time, cost and quality, escalating deviations where required.
  • Drive disciplined reporting and decision-making through agreed governance forums.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between corporate functions, acquired businesses and senior sponsors.
  • Produce concise, senior‑level reporting on progress, risks, costs and delivery confidence.
  • Work in partnership with HR to plan and deliver people‑related integration projects, including TUPE, organisational design, leadership alignment and communications.
  • Apply change and stakeholder management techniques to support adoption and minimise disruption.
  • Track integration costs, synergies and benefits against agreed business cases.

About Severn Trent

Water is wonderful. Without it we’d be lost. With it, everything’s possible. For every toothbrush, for every loo flushed. For the hot showers, the cool drinks, the cups of tea. But it’s not just at the heart of our homes. It’s at the heart of everything; our schools, our businesses, our hospitals. Saving lives, helping communities thrive.

We’re Severn Trent, a diverse and amazing group of people who want to keep it that way. We bring you clean water and we take it away safely too. But it’s not just what we do. It’s how we do it: not just talking, but going over and above. Stepping up and rolling our sleeves up.

It’s because we care. Not only about our water but our corner of the country. And we care for our amazing people who make all this possible. Don’t just take our word for it; we’re a Glassdoor Top 50 Company – one of the best employers in the UK right now.

At Severn Trent, we do more, because we care.
