Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
  • Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.
  • Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.
  • Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
  • Deliver Instrumentation & Control discipline specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Apply recognised offshore / onshore engineering practices applicable to Instrumentation & Control design engineering.
  • Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:
    • ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes;
    • if required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions;
    • prepare engineering drawings and documentation;
    • ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with Worley checking procedures; and participate in project reviews as required.

Quality Assurance:

  • Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.

Safety:

  • Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
  • Competent in implementing HSE in the design process, focuses on process safety and strives to use best practice.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • Diploma, Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology in Instrumentation & Control discipline

Industry Specific Experience:

  • Vast number of years experience in Design and engineering of Instrumentation & Control equipments
  • Must have experience in Offshore & Onshore projects, AutoCAD, Detailed Design, As-builts
  • Preferable skills - AVEVA
