The E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University invites applications for a Senior Instructor (Marketing) position in the Flores MBA Program. This is a non-tenure-track, 9-month academic year position with a three-year renewable term based on performance and program needs. Opportunities for promotion in instruction, non-tenure rank are available.

The typical teaching load for this position is 4/4.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

90% - Teaching graduate level courses in the Flores MBA program. (8 courses per academic year)

10% - Provide service to the department and college

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: PhD in Business or Marketing; DBA, or a PhD in a closely related field

Years of Experience: 6+ years of university teaching experience

Specific Experience: Evidence of effective classroom teaching, and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality in-person MBA instruction on LSU's campus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: PhD in Business or Marketing; DBA, or a PhD in a closely related field

Specific Experience: Significant recent experience in marketing management or related roles with previous experience teaching or advising MBA students.

Subject matter expertise and professional experience in areas such as advertising and promotion, brand and product management, digital marketing, sports marketing, marketing communications, and sales.
