Siemens Mobility is the trusted partner for sustainable and seamless public transport solutions for rail and road, from the first to the last mile. We are looking for an experienced Installation Supervisor to take a key role in the installation of a major rail signaling project in Taiwan. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate site execution, supervise local installation subcontractor, and work closely with international engineering and T&C experts within Siemens Mobility. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for coordinating onsite installation activities and managing subcontractor work teams
  • Ensure that the daily installation schedule is met and that planned installation activities are implemented on time, with quality and safety in mind
  • Supervise subcontractor activities
  • Enforce all health and safety policies, including conducting toolbox safety talks
  • Assist engineering and drafting teams with correct installation standards and procedures
  • Perform loop tests on field cabling
  • Review completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and is delivered on time
  • Maintain tooling and consumables in the necessary quantities to support installation


Requirements:
  • Experience with Train Signaling activities
  • Ability to produce documentation (reports, MoS, etc.) of high quality
  • Capability to conduct on-site surveys with customers
  • Possession of solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Assist engineers and project managers in addressing and resolving design and customer issues
  • Proficient in computer skills
