Job Description
- Conduct in-line and final product inspections, identifying quality issues and implementing effective corrective actions
- Evaluate samples against product specifications to ensure compliance with customer quality standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to merchandisers, factories, and customers to maintain product quality
- Deliver proactive QA advisory to factories before and throughout the manufacturing process
- Analyze and troubleshoot quality issues from bulk production through to finished garments
- Ensure all finished garments meet defined specifications and quality benchmarks
- Perform fabric pre-production quality assessments in line with the quality manual
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams involved in product development and production
- Communicate quality concerns identified during testing and evaluation to key stakeholders in a timely manner
- Establish and clearly communicate tolerance levels to relevant stakeholders
- Assess garment construction in alignment with approved samples and specifications
- Define, implement, and continuously improve Quality Assurance methodologies within production processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience in denim products is required
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience within the manufacturing industry
- Solid understanding of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and AQL (2.5/4.0) standards
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively under pressure
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
