Job Description:
Leads and communicates complex marketing insights using a range of data, research, modeling, experimentation, AI, and measurement capabilities to improve product marketing decisions and business outcomes. Partners with demand-generation teams, line-of-business marketers, product owners, strategists, and senior executives to frame high-value questions, translate business needs into clear technical requirements, and convert analysis into practical action. Integrates product, audience, channel, campaign, media, and client perspectives while managing competing priorities and making disciplined trade-offs based on financial exposure, customer risk, strategic importance, speed, scalability, and cost. Requires deep marketing and analytics knowledge, executive-level communication, and the ability to advise leaders on the most effective use of centralized capabilities.
The Senior Insights Strategy Executive for Product Marketing leads the strategy and optimization of insights delivery, data use, advanced analytics, research, modeling, experimentation, AI, and business intelligence for demand generation and line-of-business product marketing. The role is focused on product marketing and partners closely with brand and media teams without owning those disciplines. The executive must understand how brand, media, channel, audience, offer, and product strategies interact so that product marketing decisions are informed by a complete view of customer exposure, response, and outcomes. The role is accountable for governing a prioritized learning agenda and connecting local marketing needs to enterprise standards, data assets, and centralized technical capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be a technically fluent and strategically minded internal consultant who connects product marketing objectives and operational pain points to the data, evidence, and technical solutions required to address them. This leader will help business owners and strategists define the decisions to be made, determine the core knowledge required to manage demand generation effectively, and direct technical delivery teams toward fit-for-purpose solutions. This leader will determine when to use modeling, AI, primary research, experimentation, reporting, or ad hoc analytics; set requirements and decision standards; and ensure executives can access reusable insights through intuitive tools, resources, and recurring performance views. The executive will also identify and prioritize gaps in consent, tagging, identity, exposure, history, collection, verification, attribution, and related data foundations that limit activation or accountability.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree, preferably an MBA, strongly preferred. Candidates without an advanced degree should have at least five years of industry strategy or consulting experience within the required 10+ years of professional experience.
