~Full Time & Day Shift~
40 hours/week
Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:30am -5pm, along with a weekend rotation of approximately every 4 weeks, and holiday and on-call commitments.
Education
RN-Bachelor's Degree OR
RN-Master's Degree OR
RN-Doctorate Degree
Certification/Licensure
Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR
Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State – Virginia
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
Case Management (ACM, CCM, CCCTM, CMAC or CMGT-BC) certification required within one year of eligibility
Experience
3 years of nursing experience (required)
3 years Case Management experience (preferred)
Healthcare experience refers to the care delivered in one of the following settings: hospital or an acute care facility
Senior Inpatient Case Manager, RN: Assumes responsibility, accountability and leadership for the daily operations including coordination of work, quality, and service for inpatient case management. Assist supervisor for assigned site/function. Participates in the work activities of assigned teams and provides case management services as needed. Maintains fiscal accountability for departmental activities. Provides feedback on hiring and evaluations of personnel. Functions in one of the following practice settings: Hospitals only
