Role description:

Our client is one of the ten largest eCommerce companies in Germany, currently modernizing its IT landscape and expanding its SAP S/4HANA footprint.

Role summary: You'll independently manage and implement SAP projects and changes in the procurement area (MM), working within an interdisciplinary SAP team split between the company's Hamburg and Bucharest offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support and process ownership for Procurement/Purchasing (Coffee, Non-Food, indirect procurement), Inventory & Valuation
• Implement SAP Best Practices and govern standard MM processes across purchasing, inventory management/valuation, and supplier processes
• Drive standardization and a Clean Core approach; make standard-vs-enhancement decisions
• Design and optimize process flows using new technologies
• Advance the company's SAP MM processes within its existing S/4HANA environment
• Coordinate with SAP and other SAP customers on further developments and innovations

Required qualifications

• SAP MM project and professional experience, with end-to-end process expertise in P2P, inventory management/valuation, and supplier management
• Understanding of Clean Core architecture: standard vs. extension decisions, API/event-driven integrations, authorization and role concepts
• Experience with process analysis, technology design, configuration, and go-live within SAP applications
• Technical affinity with Fiori and basic ABAP knowledge for design reviews (not a development role)
• Strong analytical/conceptual skills and very good English
• Able to work on-site in Bucharest two days a week

Preferred / nice to have

• Knowledge of integration with non-SAP systems
• Familiarity with the SAP QM module
