Job Description

Senior Infrastructure IT Project Manager (Hybrid – Brussels)

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure IT Project Manager to lead and manage complex infrastructure projects in a hands-on and autonomous environment.

The consultant will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery in terms of scope, budget, quality, and timelines while coordinating internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects

  • Define project structures, roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and delivery plans

  • Coordinate project execution and monitor progress, risks, and quality

  • Lead communication with stakeholders, clients, and technical teams

  • Produce project reporting and ensure effective governance

  • Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams involved in project delivery

  • Apply Agile, ITIL, and Prince2 methodologies throughout project execution

  • Support infrastructure initiatives related to cloud, networking, security, and containerized environments

Required Skills & Experience


  • Proven experience as a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager

  • Strong hands-on project management experience in infrastructure environments

  • Expertise with Jira and Confluence

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL and Prince2 methodologies

  • Experience with:

    • Cloud and network architecture (LAN/WAN, VNets, subnets, firewalls)

    • Kubernetes/OpenShift environments

    • VMware, Docker, and containerization technologies

    • Security technologies (EDR, NDR, PKI, firewalls, intrusion detection, DLP)

    • DevOps environments and REST/SOAP APIs

  • Experience managing SLAs and operational delivery

  • Experience in healthcare or social security cloud environments is considered a plus

Languages


  • Dutch: Active knowledge

  • French: Active knowledge

  • English: Active knowledge

Work Conditions


  • Full-time assignment

  • Hybrid working model

  • Initial contract until 30/09 with possible extensions every 3 months through the end of 2026
