The mission of the Senior Industrialization Engineer - Expert Hydraulic Hoses is to play a critical role in process and manufacturing operations, ensuring that new products, technologies, and engineering changes are industrialized in a scalable, stable, and cost-effective manner.

The role leads complex industrialization initiatives and ensures the successful transfer of products into stable serial production. This position demonstrates deep expertise in hydraulic hoses process, critical process parameters, application requirements, process ranges, and product process interactions, applying modern manufacturing techniques and methodologies to ensure process capability, risk mitigation, and consistent product quality.

Key targets of the role include achieving launch readiness, process capability and stability, operational efficiency, cost competitiveness, and long-term manufacturing sustainability while supporting continuous improvement and global alignment.

Product Industrialization & Process Industrialization:

  • Deep expertise in the processes (Mandrel Preparation, Extrusion, Braiding, Cover, Assembly, Curing, Blow out, Pressure Test and Crimping)
  • Manage the industrialization of new hydraulic hose products from design through serial production.
  • Act as the technical expert for hydraulic hose manufacturing technologies, materials, and assembly processes.
  • Contribute through manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and layouts to ensure capability, safety, quality, and cost targets are met.
  • Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) reviews in collaboration with other departments.

Product and Process Improvement:

  • Support engineering changes, providing expert guidance to ensure robust industrialization and minimal disruption to production.
  • Provide expert input and technicaldirection to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost in collaboration with other departments.
  • Support structured problem-solving activities using Lean, Six Sigma, and quality tools (A3, 8D, DMAIC, SPC, MSA).
  • Provide technical expertise to process optimization initiatives such as cycle time reduction, yield improvement, and cost optimization.
  • Promote best practices and technical standards to strengthen manufacturing robustness.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Provide technical overshight of process postlaunch.
  • Review performance indicators ensuring technical adequacy and long term process stability.
  • Identify, assess, and technically evaluate industrialization risks.
  • Provide expert technical support during audits.

Standardization:

  • Drive the implementation of standards for hydraulic hose products and processes.
  • Ensure technical guidelines in collaboration with the PPI team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to train and coach engineers.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and ensure proper standardization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree: in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemistry, or a related
  • Advanced English
  • Leading Projects and specific teams (giving direction, feedback, motivation, moderation)
  • Strong communication .
  • Experience:

  • 5 or more years of extensive professional experience in process or manufacturing engineering functions with strong knowledge of hydraulic hoses process (10 years of experience preferred)
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in rubber and plastic production processes and ramp-up projects
  • Working with international teams on production topics and understanding of foreign cultures
  • Knowledge:

  • Manufacturing Engineering Processes
  • Expert in Rubber, and Hydraulic Hose Products.
  • Expert in Hydraulic Hose Process and Production Equipment.
  • Depth understanding of Core manufacturing processes for hoses (Mandrel Preparation, Extrusion, Braiding, Cover, Assembly, Curing, Blow out, Pressure Test and Crimping)
  • Strong knowledge of Product and process industrialization related technologies, systems, Infrastructures, standards and processes.
  • Understanding of Hose Critical Process parameters, and Machine set up.
  • Hose Products, systems and technologies (Functionalities and applications)
  • Design Validation and product qualification test and processes
  • 2. Methodologies

  • Strong analytical, Problem Solving and decision-Making Tools and Techniques
  • Process Change Management
  • Lean production/CBS principles, methods and tools (e.g. production management system) Tools:
  • Project management
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Core Tools (PFMEA, APQP, MSA, R&R, Flow chart, Process control sheet)
