  • Mentor and support junior engineers, helping build capability across the team.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients while contributing to proposals, project planning and technical problem-solving.
  • Travel to client and project sites across New Zealand, gaining hands-on exposure to industrial mechanical plant and construction activities.

What you'll bring

  • Around 7+ years' experience in mechanical engineering within industrial, manufacturing, energy or related sectors.
  • Experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Technical capability in mechanical and piping system design, including hygienic and pressure piping systems, surge analysis, pipe stress and hydraulic analysis.
  • Familiarity with PECPR requirements, AS/NZS 1170, the ASME B31 suite of codes, or equivalent engineering standards.
  • Experience using, or a willingness to learn, specialist piping software such as AutoPIPE, PIPE-FLO or similar.
  • A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and a willingness to travel to project sites across New Zealand.
