Job Description

As a Sr Industrial Maintenance Controls Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of controlssystems in our industrial facilities. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing controls, electrical equipment, mechanical, and systems, as well as troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.  
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our plant equipment, ensuring that they meet the highest safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to support the production process and contribute to the overall success of our operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain,and repairelectrical control systems, which includes tasks like troubleshooting malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, calibrating equipment, and ensuring proper operation of automated machinery by working with sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, controllers, and related components, often utilizing knowledge of PLC programming and electrical schematics to diagnose and resolve issues; they may also collaborate with engineers to implement system upgrades or modifications.
• Install,maintain,troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they cause disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot plant equipment problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• PreferredTen (10) years of experience as a Controls Industrial Maintenance Technician

or

• Minimumof five (5) years of experience as a Controls Industrial Maintenance Technician
• Experience working on PLC programming and troubleshooting is required(Allen Bradley, HMIs.)
• Experience working in a multi-craft industrial manufacturing or similar environment with experience as a control technician, electrician and or mechanic is required
• Other industrial Maintenance backgrounds would be considered as well.
  
• Knowledge ofwelding, fabrication, troubleshooting, pipe fitting, and installation will be a plus.

WE VALUE

Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field would be a plus

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to use CMMS to perform PMs and report on plant issues.
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification would be a plus

PLC trainings and or certifications
