KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • LEAN Manufacturing
  • Develop strategy to apply LEAN manufacturing in the Plant
  • Provide training and education about LEAN manufacturing in the Plant
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and promote the effectiveness of Lean Manufacturing implementation throughout all Pfeiffer Vacuum Vietnam Plant
  • Organizing the workshop related to LEAN Manufacturing for the Plant
  • Conduct LEAN Manufacturing maturity assessment
  • Process Planning
  • Production concepts and strategy.
  • Value steam analyses and value stream design.
  • Factory Layout Planning and Office planning.
  • Definition of production Logistics infrastructure incl. box concept and Transportation standards
  • Capacity planning
  • CAPEX plan for capability planning
  • Engineering Change Management
  • Responsible to control
  • ECR - Engineering Change Request
  • ECO - Engineering Change Order
  • ECN - Engineering Change Notice
  • Work methods
  • Workplace design
  • Ergonomic
  • Method-time measurement
  • Managing Prototype & Sample
  • Responsible for prototype and sample
  • Developing robust manufacturing process and transfer to mass production
  • Responsible to prepare the documentation like Work instruction and procedure, process flow diagram as well as PPAP, APQP, FMEA…
  • Process Analysis & Optimization
  • Data analysis, process monitoring and evaluating to confirm effectiveness of manufacturing system and advice direction for improving to get the best production cost
  • Analyzing of production process and solving the problem from root cause
  • Evaluation and improve material flow to reduce Production lead time to enhance Customer OTD
  • Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
  • Promote and lead cross-functional problem-solving teams using structured approaches (e.g., root cause analysis, 5 Why, 8D).
  • Track implementation of corrective and preventive actions and verify effectiveness over time.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the shop floor
  • Project Management:
  • Responsible for project management which related to new products transfer, improvement project,
  • Support and Co-ordinate for others project in the Factory
  • In addition to the duties list above, the position holder must be carry out tasks assigned by his supervisor that are essentially related to his duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Functional Competencies:
  • Graduated from university with a major in Industrial engineering, Mechanial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of industrial engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and production systems.
  • Experience and knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing, Ergonomic, Method-time measurement
  • Experience and knowledge of high precision Machining, Electronic assembly, Semiconductor...
  • Knowledge in PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 7 QC tools and measuring devices.
  • Methodological Competencies:
  • Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • Project management capabilities, including planning, coordination, and execution of technical improvement projects.
  • Structured problem-solving approach using Six Sigma, PDCA, or 8D methodologies.
  • Leadership & Interpersonal Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to influence and support change at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic production environments.
  • Initiative and self-direction in driving process improvement and efficiency.
