Job Responsibilities :

• Own the specifications and industrial design of Razer’s furniture products — gaming chairs and ergonomic accessories — from concept through to production.
• Develop design concepts through sketches, renderings, and 3D CAD models that balance ergonomics, aesthetics, manufacturability, and Razer’s brand identity.
• Build and refine physical prototypes and mock-ups; conduct hands-on evaluation of form, fit, comfort, and ergonomics across the design cycle.
• Define specifications, materials, finishes, colors, and surface treatments and collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality, durability, and feasibility.
• Conduct and apply user research, ergonomic studies, and competitive benchmarking to inform design decisions for long-session comfort and posture.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and external manufacturing partners; influence without authority and set clear design direction.
• Uphold design quality and brand consistency across the furniture category.

• Minimum of 8 years of industrial design experience in consumer products, furniture, or consumer electronics; experience designing seating, furniture, or ergonomic products strongly preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped consumer products with excellence in form, ergonomics, and craftsmanship.
• Proficiency in industrial design tools such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Keyshot, Alias, and Adobe Creative Suite; strong sketching and 3D modeling skills.
• Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (injection molding, foam, textiles, metal, and die-casting), and design-for-manufacture.
• Experience working directly with overseas manufacturers and suppliers across the full development cycle, from prototype to mass production.
• A strong passion for gaming, ergonomics, and premium product design.
• Able to work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executive management.
