In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Own end-to-end VAT/GST compliance for complex or high-volume jurisdictions, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-documented filings.
Prepare and review VAT/GST returns, reconciliations, and supporting workpapers in line with local requirements and internal standards.
Act as a technical reviewer for complex filings prior to management approval, applying sound judgment and attention to detail.
Perform, analyze, and enhance reconciliations between ERP systems, tax engine outputs, and VAT/GST returns.
Identify, investigate, and resolve data and compliance issues, including performing root-cause analysis and recommending sustainable solutions.
Lead preparation of audit responses and support interactions with tax authorities and external advisors.
Drive continuous improvements in data quality, tax coding, and indirect tax compliance processes.
Support and lead tax-related workstreams for system changes, new regulatory mandates, and process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and external partners to resolve complex indirect tax matters in a practical, business-focused way.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Demonstrated experience in indirect tax, with solid hands-on involvement in VAT/GST compliance and reporting.
Strong technical knowledge of VAT/GST principles and the ability to apply them in a practical, business-oriented context.
The ability to analyze complex data sets, perform reconciliations, and identify issues with accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in common productivity tools, particularly spreadsheets and document preparation software.
Confidence communicating in English, both in writing and verbally, within a global professional environment.
The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Experience supporting indirect tax compliance across multiple countries or higher-complexity jurisdictions.
Exposure to ERP systems or tax engines such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
