Senior Inclusion Lead (Aboriginal ID)

• Temporary Full Time - Up to twelve months
• Clerk Grade 9/10 - Package up to $ 166,549 pa. Package includes salary range ($133,348 pa to $ 146,945 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
• Or Non-Station Based Team Leader: At rank plus 20% allowance, noting the ranks are Station Officer (with minimum 24 months service), Leading Station Officer and Inspector,
• Based in Greenacre NSW with hybrid work available

Who can apply?

The position can be filled by either a Clerk Grade 9/10 or a operational Firefighter as a Non-Station Based Team Lead

For FRNSW Operational staff only to apply as Non-Station Based Team Leader: Open to all employees who are a Non-Station Based Team Member in any position across FRNSW, also Inspectors, Leading Station Officers and Station Officers (with a minimum of 24 months service at the rank of Station Officer as of the closing date for applications).

About the role:

The Senior Inclusion Lead leads the design, implementation, review and continuous improvement of organisation-wide diversity and inclusion frameworks, strategies, programs and initiatives. The role provides expert, evidence-based advice, builds organisational capability and influences leaders and stakeholders to embed inclusive, culturally safe and equitable workplace practices that support FRNSW strategic priorities.

About you:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design, implementation and review of diversity and inclusion strategies, frameworks, policies, programs and services that influence organisational culture, systems and workforce practices.
• Well-developed knowledge of contemporary diversity and inclusion practice, together with strong cultural capability and the ability to engage respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, diverse communities, employee networks and stakeholders to improve inclusive workplace practices.

Essential Requirements:

• Aboriginality is an essential requirement of this role. In accordance with section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW), applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in diversity and inclusion, organisational development, human resources, social policy or a related discipline.
• Willingness and ability to travel in accordance with operational requirements.
